The Knowledge Base will consist of pages of information connected by links and references. Visitors to wwoa.org are encouraged to add content to these pages, create and link new pages and even edit existing pages. Collaboration is what gives this concept strength and should be encouraged. So please do add content that you feel would benefit the group. Do not post anything that you wouldn't want to be edited. Postings and edits are documented.
You'll often see and hear references to this type of site as a "wiki." This is a word from the Hawaiian language and means "quick." A very popular use of this type of web page can be found here.
Some other housekeeping items:
- Many of the Topic Pages are under construction so pardon the missing content.
- Clicking on the wwoa water drip graphic will always return you to the main page of the site.
- Logging into the wwoa wiki will allow you to edit the pages and document your identity. This isn't meant to sound as scary as it may. The whole idea of everyone being able to add to the site content is enhanced when we have a better idea of who has contributed content. Feel free to use the same login password for the Knowlege Base as you did for the main site login. Your choice.
- Any number and statistics fans out there? Check out the traffic analysis page for wwoa.org. check it out.
