Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District (WalCoMet) is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Water Reclamation Facility Operator. The successful candidate for this position will work alongside other operators and support personnel for the efficient operation and maintenance of the water reclamation facility and sanitary sewer collection system equipment and facilities.

This involves the performance of skilled work done independently and in team settings, including but not limited to analytical sampling and testing, troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems, electric motors, pumps, valves, SCADA systems, chemical feed systems, and heavy equipment. Trade, vocational or technical school degree/courses in related fields and/or experience along with knowledge and training in wastewater treatment technologies and collection system is desirable. This position requires on-call rotation scheduling including select nights, weekends, and holidays. The individual filling this position is required to have or be able to obtain Wisconsin DNR Wastewater Operator Certifications and a Wisconsin CDL with A, B, C, D, and N endorsements.
